Best of the Best 2012

Miami, FL- It was a long day at the Klipsch Amphitheatre at Bayfront Park for Best of the Best. There were so many different MC's and performers it was hard to keep track. You can check out the full gallery over at New Times. I also had my first photo published by Rolling Stone along with their review. Here are a few extra.

ABC Event with Governor Rick Scott

Sunrise, FL- I was hired by Associated Builders & Contractors to cover their event at Bank Atlantic with special guest speaker Governor Rick Scott. He's the first governor I've gotten a chance to meet and photograph. The governor gave a brief speech and then took a few questions.

Dancing with the South Florida Stores

Ft. Lauderdale, FL- The Brian Neal Health & Fitness Foundation and The Manor put their own twist on Dancing with the stars Monday night. Celebrity drag queens judged the choreographed dance contest and also peformed. The style of dance varied and there even was a team of 3. Proceeds of the event benefited the foundation to help those with AIDS/HIV continue to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle. Sea Monsters at Black Rose

Boca Raton, FL- Last Saturday night I checked out my friends band, Sea Monsters, over at the Black Rose. I was just having fun and tend to do some more creative editing when shooting for fun. Here are a few from the night.

River Walk Burger Battle

Ft. Lauderdale, FL- There are certain perks to photographing events like a burger battle. I definitely tried a few and there were plenty of burgers to go around with the tents serving non stop. The drinks were flowing and toward the end of the night the Krystal eating contest was a spectacle. Rok: Brgr definitely had the most crowd support while Charm City scored better with the judges by far. Check out the full slideshow at New Times or their review

Eric's Graduation

I traveled up to Connecticut this last weekend to spend time with family and celebrate my cousin's graduation from UConn. Here are some of the photos I took during our lunch with my grandpa.

Wednesday Night of Sunfest 2012 with Counting Crowes and Coheed & Cambria

West Palm Beach, FL- I covered the first night of Sunfest for New Times this year. Sunfest as a whole seems to never change, the only thing that does change are the acts. It would be awesome if they would switch up the other attractions. Counting Crowes sounded great, although they did not play Mr. Jones or Colorblind which was a little disappointing. Coheed kicked ass and the fans sang along through out their set and at some points broke out into a moshpit.  Check out the full gallery over at New Times
