Rolling Loud Music Festival

Miami, FL- Rolling Loud had a stacked line up, but was a nightmare to photograph. Security was absent for most of the day and I photographed in a photo pit of kids with cell phones snap chatting away. At one point I couldn't move as people hopped the barricade into the pit. It has become more and more difficult to get photographs with out people on their phones. If I have a great shot where someone in the photo isn't even paying attention and looking down at their phone I'll often pass on it. All that stuff comes with the job and you have to get your shots. I was happy to be able to get portraits of Curren$y and Action Bronson. Here are some favorites and you can see the full gallery and review over at New Times.
